In which Courtney thinks too hard about carapaces.

Okay, hopefully easy question here! I reserved PM and I was thinking about the carapaces, and noticed they weren't really mentioned anywhere. (Unless I missed something, and I wouldn't be surprised, and in that case I'm sorry!)

So I was wondering if there was any real backstory or anything for them? Like, we know how the trolls and the humans got here and ended up coexisting, but the carapaces are pretty unique from both species so I'm not sure how they would fit in! So I was wondering if this had been discussed or brainstormed over at all?

I'm probably really overthinking this aren't I? Oh well!

I wish I could answer this question, but I didn't make this particular shade of the universe. Tbh, I have been kind of curious about it myself. :U I love the carapaces and their adventures and for one am quite excite about your reserve~

To be completely and utterly honest, I wasn't sure what to do with the carapaces and what not when I made this universe. So if there's any way you think you might wish to mold them into the universe this is entirely yours to play with. I mean of course if there's an obvious conflict then yeah, I'll have to say no, but more than likely there won't be. I built this entire thing with flexibility in mind.

You can fit them in as their own species existing on the Medius, or you may lump them in with either the humans or trolls. It's mostly up to you. In my vague planning i lumped them in with the humans as that is how most people seem to see them in fanart. So most of it is up in the air.

It won't be hard to mesh them in. If you wish to brainstorm with me you're free to message me anytime. I'm always up for that.
